Victoria was a true joy to work with. She was kind, thoughtful, patient and professional and was thorough in all my fittings. She was able to customize my gown to be my dream neckline, which included converting it to a plunging sweetheart, as well as reinforced the corset with boning so it had the structure I was looking for. There are so many overwhelming elements of planning a wedding, but the team at Mrs. P makes sure that your dress alteration isn't one of them. After my first visit I didn't stress about my dress for one moment!!Posted on Google![]()

I had my wedding dress altered here, and the team did an amazing job. Everyone was so pleasant, professional, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Ping worked on my mom’s dress for my wedding, and she was absolutely lovely. She was so friendly, kind, and talented, and my mom’s dress turned out beautifully. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I would highly recommend them!Posted on Google![]()

I had the best experience here!! Trying on the sample which was many sizes off of my usual size, the dress fit different when it arrived in my size at the bridal store and I was so disappointed. The seamstress listened to my concerns and made non invasive suggestions to help me love my dress again. They totally crushed it!! I was obsessed and shocked that the little additions they made completely changed the look of the dress. At the end it fit very well and looked beautiful. They were so patient with me and all my questions, doubts and concerns and made me feel so much better. They are true magicians here and I would trust them with any of your gown and bridal needs 🧚🏻♀️✨🤍Posted on Google![]()

I had such a great experience with Mrs. P Stitches. My dress needed quite a bit of work, including some more complex customizations to the bodice and overall shape of the gown. I wanted certain areas reworked while still keeping the original look and feel of the dress, and I honestly wasn’t sure how seamless those changes would be. I was so impressed with the final result. Everything looked incredibly natural, and you would never know that some of the details weren’t originally part of the dress. The fit was beautiful, the customizations were executed so well, and everything still felt like *my* gown. The team was also lovely throughout the whole process and made me feel really comfortable with the decisions we were making. So happy with how everything turned out!Posted on Google![]()

I brought in a ready-to-wear skirt for my reception look, and now I have one of a kind hair and skirt set. Can’t say enough good things about Ping- she’s thoughtful, professional and skillful!
Before you start
New to bridal alterations?
Our step-by-step guide covers timing, fittings, bustles and rush options, so you know what to expect before your appointment.
Read the Bridal Alterations Guide →Bridal alterations start from $900 and rise with complexity — the number of services, fabric type, and any custom work. We provide a clear quote before any work begins, and invite you to request a virtual estimate ahead of your visit.
We recommend booking 3–4 months before your wedding so fittings aren’t rushed. Structural or custom work needs more lead time. Short notice is possible with a rush surcharge — from $300 to $800 depending on how close the date is.
Most brides need two to three fittings. The exact number depends on the extent of the work and any changes to your body leading up to the day. We’ll give you a realistic estimate after your first appointment.
Your gown, the exact shoes you’ll wear, and your wedding-day undergarments — all three directly affect the fit. Missing items may require a $50 re-fitting and an additional appointment, so please plan ahead.
We can reshape necklines, backs, sleeves, and silhouette, but every gown’s construction sets its own limits — and once a hem is cut, length may not be recoverable. We’ll always tell you honestly what’s structurally achievable before we begin. See what can be customized on a wedding dress →
Yes. Beyond alterations we can repurpose your gown or fabric into an anniversary dress, cocktail or vacation dress, reception mini, two-piece set, or bridal robe. Let us know on your quote and we’ll discuss options at your consultation.

Yes. We create French, American and ballroom bustles sized to your train, and at your final fitting we teach the person helping you how to bustle your gown. Read our bustle guide →
