We built this studio around one quiet belief.

That altering your wedding dress should feel as considered as the wedding itself — never rushed, never impersonal, never left to chance.

Our Philosophy

Expert bridal alterations in Toronto, designed around your dress, your story, and your moment.

Our Story

A wedding dress should never feel like a gamble.

We saw brides investing their hearts into their dresses, only to enter the alterations process with uncertainty and little understanding of the craftsmanship involved.

We realized bridal alterations aren’t the final step—they’re the moment a dress truly becomes your dress. Yet the artistry behind that transformation is rarely seen or appreciated.

So we built Mrs. P Stitches: a bridal atelier where craftsmanship, transparency, and exceptional care come together to give every bride complete confidence.

Our mission is to protect the bride, honour the dress, and elevate the art of bridal alterations

because the dress everyone remembers is only possible because of the work almost nobody sees.

About Us

Meet Our Team

Mrs. P Stitches was born in 2021 in the corner of a small bedroom — late nights, careful hands, and a quiet determination to do this properly. Three years later, that same spirit lives in our first studio. Different space. Same stitches.

Ping

Co-Founder & Master Tailor

Ping has been sewing professionally for over 40 years, with a career spanning Club Monaco, Levi’s, Lululemon, and beyond. She brings to every gown the kind of patience and precision that only decades of practice produces — an instinct for fit that goes beyond measurements, and a gentleness with delicate fabric that brides notice the moment they step out of the fitting room.

Off the floor, Ping channels that same care into her kitchen. An accomplished home chef and enthusiastic host, she believes in feeding people well — in every sense of the word.

Susanna

Co-Founder & Head of Operation

Susanna built Mrs. P Stitches around a simple conviction: that the experience of getting your dress altered should feel as considered as the wedding itself. Her background in hospitality and sales shapes everything from how appointments are run to how concerns are handled — with clarity, warmth, and no detail left to chance.

Outside the atelier, Susanna manages a portfolio of over 25 short-term properties across North America, designing stays that are elevated without being fussy. Mrs. P Stitches brides receive an exclusive discount on her Dallas and Toronto properties — details on our travel page. At home, she’s rarely found without Bear, her Pomeranian, close behind.

Adam Chung

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Adam believes that the way a space makes you feel is just as important as how it looks.

As Co-Founder and Creative Director, he was the vision behind the Mrs. P Stitches atelier — designing and personally bringing to life a space where brides can exhale, feel cared for, and know they are in the right hands. Every detail was considered to make the experience feel calm, intimate, and quietly luxurious.

That same philosophy carries into everything Adam builds behind the scenes. From thoughtful systems to the workflows that allow our team to focus more fully on each bride, his work is about creating the right conditions for exceptional care to happen naturally.

You may not see everything Adam creates — but you’ll feel it in the experience.

Victoria

Atelier Manager & Head Seamstress

Victoria has spent over a decade in the bridal industry and a lifetime in sewing — she made her first garment at age eight and hasn’t really stopped. Trained in Fashion Design at Toronto Metropolitan University, her specialties include bodice restructuring, silhouette refinement, and working with the unforgiving fabrics — lace, silk, beading — that demand both skill and nerve.

Her background extends into luxury figure skating costume production, where structural precision and flawless finish aren’t optional. That same standard follows her into every bridal fitting. At Mrs. P Stitches, Victoria oversees the full alteration process: fittings, production quality, and the final result — ensuring every gown performs as beautifully as it photographs.

Jamie

Bridal Stylist

For Jamie, bridal has always been more than an industry — it’s something she grew up loving. Introduced to the world of bridal through her family business at a young age, she later built her own experience helping brides find the gowns they would say “yes” to.

Today, she brings that eye for bridal style to Mrs. P Stitches, guiding brides through their fittings with warmth, thoughtful advice, and an understanding of how a gown should look, feel, and move. Whether she’s refining the fit, exploring a customization, or offering the reassurance a bride needs along the way, Jamie is there to help bring the entire look together.

Her goal is simple: for every bride to leave feeling seen, cared for, and completely confident in the dress she’ll wear on one of the most meaningful days of her life.

The Difference

Calm, by design.

We built a process so nothing is guessed and nothing is rushed. Four quiet commitments stand behind every fitting.

Documented measurements

Every measurement and decision is recorded before we cut. Nothing is left to memory.

Confirmed approvals

You approve every step. A hem isn’t sewn until you’ve seen it pinned and said yes.

Clear communication

From your first message to your final fitting, you always know exactly where things stand.

A fitting that takes your breath

We obsess over the last 5% — the moment you turn to the mirror and it finally feels like yours.

“A wedding dress is never just fabric, it's the way a bride wants to be remembered.”
