We recommend booking your alterations two to four months before your wedding day. For custom design, we ask for a minimum of six months. Reserving early makes the process calmer and more considered, and it leaves room for every refinement to be done with care.
Most brides need 2–3 fittings. The exact number depends on the extent of the alterations and how your body may change leading up to the day. We’ll give you a realistic estimate after your first appointment.
Your wedding dress, the exact shoes you’ll wear, and your wedding-day undergarments. All three directly affect the fit, and we can’t pin accurately without them. If you’re missing items at your first visit, a $50 re-fitting fee and an additional appointment will apply.
Your consultation is included when you choose to work with us — a chance to explore the possibilities for your gown and make sure we’re the right fit. Should you have your alterations completed elsewhere, a consultation fee applies in recognition of the time and expertise involved.
Bridal alterations start from $800 and range up to $1,400, excluding customizations. Final cost depends on complexity — the number of services, fabric type, and any custom work. We invite you to request a virtual quote before your visit.
Inspiration photos guide creative direction, but exact replication can’t be guaranteed — fabric, gown construction, body shape, and support all vary. Some styles may also need fashion tape or specialty undergarments to achieve the look. We’ll always advise on what’s structurally achievable while protecting your gown.
Yes. We have extensive experience with luxury fabrics and couture construction, and understand the unique demands of lace, silk, beading, and other delicate bridal materials.
Once a hem is cut and sewn, adding length back may be impossible due to fabric and seam-allowance limits. The length you see pinned and approve at your fitting is the length we complete — so we make sure you’re confident in the proportions and footwear first.
